What does an EXTERIOR REPAINT actually involve?

Day one, wash and inspect: The whole house gets pressure or soft washed, with cleaning chemicals only where mildew has dug in. Then it dries a full 24 hours. While it dries we walk the place and write down every crack, every peeling patch and every soft board.
Day two, prep: Cracks sealed, loose paint scraped, windows and doors caulked, bare spots spot primed, and everything that is not getting painted masked off. Chalky walls get Loxon Conditioner so the new paint has something solid to hold onto. This is the day that decides how long the job lasts.
Days three and four, paint: Stucco gets sprayed and backrolled, which works the coating into the surface instead of laying it on top. Trim, fascia, soffits and doors go on at the same time. Doors we spray, because a sprayed door has no brush marks in it.
Day five, finish and walk it: Masking comes off, details get chased down, the site gets cleaned, and we walk the whole house with you before the truck leaves. Most houses run three to five days depending on size and weather.

Most of the work happens during normal hours, which keeps your cost down.
